    FRESHMAN (2011): Recorded the 10th-best hammer throw distance in Academy history...tossed a distance of 151'4" at the Front Range Classic to finish eighth...recorded that same placement in the hammer during three other meets...also competed in the shot put and discus throw during the outdoor season...recorded a career-best outdoor shot mark of 37'5" at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships...tossed a season-best 137'11" in the discus throw at the New Mexico Tailwind Invitational...placed fifth at that meet...threw a season-best 35'10¾" in the shot put at the Air Force All-Comers Meet...recorded a personal-best 45'7¼" in the weight throw at the Air Force Invitational.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Post Falls High School...Idaho 5A state champion in the discus throw...runner-up in the shot put at that meet...earned MVP award...also named Most Improved for Track...also received the Most Improved awards for basketball and volleyball...served as captain of the volleyball team...received the Best Teammate award in basketball...earned the Idaho Top Scholar award...Junior Miss...ASB representative...Key Club member.

    PERSONAL: Full first name is Rebecca, but goes by Becca...daughter of William and Laura Bauman...has one younger brother, Petey...majoring in mechanical engineering...future plans include becoming a developmental engineer...spent the summer flying an engineless plane and spending "a week in the woods, learnin' to survive"...has family that has served in the military...hobbies include horseback riding, hiking and swimming...member of Cadet Squadron 28.
