FRESHMAN YEAR | 2016-17: Competed in the shot put during 11 meets (seven indoor, four outdoor)...recorded a collegiate-best distance of 41’9¼” to win the Adams State Qualifier...also earned a first-place finish at the Air Force Collegiate Open (37’6”)...surpassed the 40-foot mark three additional times...posted an outdoor-best throw of 37’2¾” to win the Air Force Twilight Open...also competed in the weight throw and javelin throw...posted a personal-best 41’4” in weight throw debut at the Air Force Holiday Open...posted a collegiate-best distance of 109’11” in the javelin at the Twilight Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Charles M. Russell High School...two-time Montana Class AA state champion in the shot put...set school record with a career-best distance of 43’1”...also won the state powerlifting title (2012-15)...set Montana state records for bench, squat, deadlift and overall...earned all-state (2011-15) and all-Northwest (2014-15) honors in the clarinet.

PERSONAL: Full first name is Ashleigh-Nicolle, but goes by Ashleigh...daughter of Thomas and Lisa Lehotsky...father retired as a Master Sergeant after 22 years of service...has one older brother, Joseph-Thomas, who is a first lieutenant in the Air Force...majoring in legal studies...future plans include working in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations...served as Support Clerk...attended the Academy’s Prep School...named the school’s Female Powerlifting Champion in the spring of 2016...loves musicals (“Phantom of the Opera is my favorite”)...completed Expeditionary Survival and Evasion Training (ESET) over the summer...also took an academic class (economics) and traveled home for leave...member of Cadet Squadron 32.
