The 20 selections by the men's MW champions are the most in program history.
The meet will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Cadet Field House.
Four men and three women were voted to serve as captains of the track and field team.
The men claimed an Academy-record 17 all-MW honors, while the women added a record six.
JUNIOR (2012): Member of the 4x400-meter relay teams that won Mountain West titles during both the indoor and outdoor championship meets...three-time all-conference selection...ran on the 4x400-meter relay team that set an Academy indoor record...also ran the sprint leg of the distance medley relay team that posted the second-fastest time in program history...competed on the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay teams that clocked top-five times on the Academy's all-time list during the outdoor season...individually recorded the program's seventh-fastest indoor 200-meter time...ran the second-leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that won the MW Indoor Championships (3:10.67) and secured Air Force its first-ever conference team title...ran that same leg during the squad's record-setting performance (3:10.52) at the Alex Wilson Invitational..also competed on the DMR team that posted the second-fastest time in program history (9:35.28) at that meet...posted a career-best time of 21.61 in the 200-meter dash to finish fourth at the MW Indoor Championships...that time is the seventh-fastest time in Academy history...won the 300-meter dash (35.19) at the Air Force Blue-Silver Open...also competed in the 500-meter dash (1:06.42) at that meet...ran the 400-meter dash once, clocking 49.65 at the Nebraska Wesleyan Open...ran the third leg of the 4x400-meter team that won the conference title at the MW Outdoor Championships in 3:09.96...that time is ranked fifth on the program's all-time list...ran the second leg of the 4x100-meter team that placed third at the conference meet in 40.74...that time is ranked fifth on the program's all-time list...scored for the Falcons in the 200-meter dash at the MW Outdoor Championships, placing seventh with a time of 21.77...clocked a career-best time of 21.69 during the event preliminary at the conference meet...ran the 400-meter dash once, posting a time of 48.26 at the Arizona State Invitational.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Earned All-American (second-team) honors as a member of the distance medley relay team that finished ninth at the NCAA Indoor Championships...ran the 400-meter leg of the DMR that recorded an Academy record (9:32.06) at the Alex Wilson Invitational...that time was ranked 10th in the nation and garnered the squad an invitational to the NCAA Championships...helped Air Force become the first service academy to send a DMR to the national championships...ran a leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that won the Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships...earned all-conference relay honors...ran the second leg of the relay team that clocked the fourth-fastest time in Academy history (3:12.79)...clocked the eighth-fastest 200-meter dash time in Academy history (21.77) at the MWC Championships to place fourth...also competed in the 400-meter dash during the indoor season, clocking a career-best time of 48.86 at the Air Force Invitational...earned the team's Track Athlete of the Week award twice during the indoor season...earned all-conference relay honors at the outdoor championships as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished third...ran the anchor leg of that squad, which recorded the seventh-fastest time in Academy history (3:10.88) at the conference championships...also scored for the Falcons at the conference meet in the 200-meter dash with a seventh-place time of 21.72...that time was a career best and the fastest time on the team...competed in the 400-meter dash in two meets, clocking a career-best 49.06 in a third-place finish at the Front Range Classic...ran on the 4x400-meter relay teams that won the Jack Christiansen Invitational and the Beach Invitational.
FRESHMAN (2010): Competed in the sprint events for the Falcons...posted a time of 7.28 in the 60-meter dash at the Air Force All-Comers Meet...also tallied a season-best 200-meter dash time of 23.32 at that meet...also competed in the 400-meter dash, clocking a 51.75 at the Air Force Invitational...posted season-best outdoor times in the 200-meter (22.38) and 400-meter (50.63) events...also a member of the Air Force football team...on the travel roster for the 2009 Armed Forces Bowl.
HIGH SCHOOL: Liberal Arts and Science Academy...earned first-team all-district honors in football...three-year regional qualifier in track and field...competed at the 2008 Junior Olympics...named Best All-Around at the LBJ Fire Academy.
