    Falcons Set to Host Annual All-Comers Meet

    The meet will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Cadet Field House.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Trinity Christian Academy...four-year member of the varsity track and field team...competed in the triple jump and 300-meter hurdles at the state championship meet all four years...also played volleyball for four years, including three as a member of the varsity team...member of the basketball team as a freshman...earned academic all-state honors by the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools...served as class president as a freshman...served as vice-president during junior and senior years...member of the National Honor Society.

    PERSONAL: Full name is Angelea Louise Ross...goes by Lea...daughter of Bobby and Brietta Ross...both parents are retired from the Army (father, active duty; mother, reserve)...has one older sister, Jarietta, who is a second lieutenant in the Army...Jarietta is a 2012 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy and former member of the Black Knights' track and field team (long jump, triple jump)...has not declared a major, but looking a systems engineering management...became a member of the PFT "500 Club" on first try...attended the Academy's Prep School...rewarded as the female with the highest PFT score for the Class of 2012...hobbies include listening to R&B and gospel music, hanging out with friends, watching movies and reading the Bible...participated in competitive gymnastics for 10 years (3-13)...reached Level 9 before deciding to try other sports in high school...went skydiving for the first time at the end of senior year of high school ("so much fun!")...member of Cadet Squadron 20.
