Rifle Team Takes Third Place In President's Trophy Match

    U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. - The Air Force Academy rifle team finished third at the President's Trophy Match, which was hosted by the Black Knights at West Point, N.Y., Saturday, Nov. 7. Junior Tom Chandler was the Falcons' lone medalist shooting a season high 586 points in smallbore.

    Army won the event with 5789 points, Navy followed with 5784, Air Force (5781) and the Coast Guard (5164). In the two disciplines, Air Force scored a composite 2873 points in smallbore and 2908 in air rifle.
