Rifle team falls to the Huskers
Lincoln -- In the second round of the Air Force-Nebraska meet, the Falcons lost 4,607 -- 4,687. Clifton Mulkey was AFA's top shooter in smallbore with a 584. Chris Hill shot a 582 followed by Jessica Palomba with a 571 and Tim Siemer with a 564 in smallbore. In air rifle, Palomba was the top AFA shooter with a 580. Both Hill and Justin Raines scored 576 while Mulkey scored 574. The Falcons shot 2,301 in smallbore and 2,306 in air rifle for the cumulative 4,607. On November 6, the rifle team will host Army, Navy and Coast Guard at the Cadet Gymnasium rifle range.
