Tyler Rico scores a 618.3 in the 10M Air Rifle

U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo.: - Following the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup 10-meter air rifle men's match in Ft. Benning, Ga., Air Force Academy cadet Tyler Rico finished with 618.3 points. On Monday, May 6, Rico scored a 103.2, 102.5, 104.1, 103.2, 101.4 and 103.9 for his final score of 618.3. His overall aggregate score of 1454 put him in 24th place.
This was Rico's first ISSF competition of his career. His ISSF aggregate is a career high, his second highest is a 1278.9 which he scored in the Junior National Olympic Shooting Championships in April.
The top three finishers in the ISSF 10m air rifle finals were in Haoran Yang (China), Dempster Christenson (USA) and Sergey Richter (Israel).
