Among the team's four-man NCAA squad, senior Tom Chandler was AFA's highest scorer with 589 points in air rifle and 584 points in the smallbore rifle. TCU's Sarah Scherer was the school's highest shooter in air rifle with 596 points while Caitlin Morrissey fired a 582 in the smallbore. "Tom Chandler is leading the team with consistency and doing what it takes to make it to the nationals," said head coach Launi Meili. "We certainly have the talent to shoot the scores to get the team to nationals, but we are falling short when it comes to the real match. We'll be working on getting our match scores more consistent with what's accomplished in practice. Once that is established, we'll be back on track to contend for a team slot at nationals."

Also competing in air rifle were freshmen Alexis Todaro (572), Stormy Sagmoen (560), sophomores York (572) and Matt Kluckman (569). In smallbore, it was Todaro (562), Kluckman (561), freshmen Josh Daviscourt (550) and Sagmoen (548).

On Jan. 22, the Falcons will host their final home meet of the season with the University of Nebraska.
