Rifle team resumes regular season

Following the winter break, the Academy's rifle team resumes its regular-season competition this weekend. The rifle team will shoot one match versus TCU on Saturday, Jan. 17, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the USAFA Rifle Range. On Sunday, Jan. 18, the two teams will shoot a match at the USOTC in Colorado Springs at 8:30 a.m. As the 2008-2009 season winds down, the Falcons will travel to Charleston, SC, for a match against The Citadel on Jan. 31. Air Force will also shoot a match against The Citadel's women's rifle team on Feb. 1. The NCAA Qualifiers are scheduled for Feb. 14. Air Force will go up against TCU in Houston, Texas. The team's final match of the regular season is Feb. 28, when the Falcons travel to Hawaii to compete in the Hawaiian Invitational.
