    The Air Force Academy rifle team outscored UTEP, 4,611-4,582, today at the USAFA Cadet Gymnasium Rifle Range. The two rifle teams competed in two-relays, in air rifle and smallbore.

    The Falcons' Tom Chandler was the high scorer in both matches with a 592/600 in the air rifle and a 583 in smallbore. In smallbore, Pat Everson finished second with a score of 579, while Mike Seery came in third with 570. In air rifle, Robert Vasquez finished fifth with a score of 576, while Seery finished in sixth place with 575 points.

    UTEP's Andrea Palafox took second in the air rifle with a 591/600, while her teammate, Alix Moncada took third with a 587.

    The Falcons will host the University of Nevada-Reno on Sunday, Nov. 21, at the USAFA Rifle Range at 8 a.m.
