U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. - The Academy's Tom Chandler competed in the 2009 NCAA Rifle National Championships this past weekend held at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. Chandler did not finish in the top eight. Chandler shot in the smallbore competition, shooting a prone 191, standing 186 and kneeling 193 for a total score of 570.

Jacksonville State finished on top with a final smallbore score of 2312. Brian Carstensen of Jacksonville State fired a 587 to finish in the top position. The University of West Virginia took home the overall title Saturday at the 2009 NCAA Rifle National Championships held at TCU.
