2013-14: (All-American, 2013) Cadet Rico's career highs include a 582 smallbore and 592 air rifle, with a high cum of 1167 ... on Oct. 19, 2013 against UTEP, he scored the team's third-highest in air rifle (586) and fourth in smallbore (570) ... in the next match on Oct. 20, had a 584 in air rifle and 574 in smallbore ... the team won both matches, 4652-4536 and 4656-4543 ... at the President's Trophy Match on Nov. 2, Rico an 1152 cum against sister academies Army, Navy and Coast Guard, which helped Air Force to its second-place finish, out scoring Navy and the Coast Guard ... in the third match of the season against UTEP, he shot a 559 in smallbore and a 586 in air rifle ... on Jan. 26, Rico shot his career-high agregate (1167) against No. 8 Nebraska ... on Feb. 22 at the qualifier match against TCU, he scored a 586 in air rifle and 569 smallbore ... on Feb. 7, Air Force swept Akron 4638-4616 and Rico finished with a 570 smallbore and 581 air rifle score ... in the first-ever PRC Championships, Rico finished with 1156 points (573 SB, 583 AR) and the team finished second in the conference ... at the NCAA qualifier against TCU, Feb. 22, he finished with an cum score of 1164 (577 SB/587 AR).
2012-13: (All-American) Cadet Rico would like to advance from the national development team to the national team in order to travel internationally and represent the US and the Air Force around the world ... during the 2012-13 season, he set a PB in air rifle twice with a 592 (Oct. 12-13) ... at the 2012 Winter Air Gun Championships (Nov. 30), he was the men's air rifle runner-up, finishing with 696.2 aggregate points ... he was also the junior men's air rifle champion with 698.2 points ... against Nebraska (Jan. 12) he was the Falcons' overall winner of the air rifle match with 590 points ... on Feb. 9, against UTEP he had a solid 200 in prone, and added a 181 in standing and 191 in kneeling to finish with 572 points in smallbore ... at the qualifiers (Feb. 16) he fired a perfect 100 in the first round of the smallbore prone ... he totaled 576 points in the match and finished with 587 points in air rifle ... following the NCAA Rifle Championships, he was selected as an All-American in air rifle first team ... on March 8, he placed 14th in the gun with 577 points in smallbore ... on March 9, he finished in 10th place with 590 points with a 197, 196, 197 and 49.9 in the air rifle shoot off.
