The Air Force rifle team had another successful season as it kicked-off its first season in the Patriot Rifle Conference (PRC). The team finished the season with a 10-6 season record and a second place finish in the PRC with a 6-3 mark.

Air Force cadet David Higgins (San Clemente, Calif.) took third place after shooting a 2308 in the qualifiers. In the finals, Higgins scored a 109, the highest scoring of all the top eight qualifiers, which earned him six points for a total score of 2314 that landed him in third place in the men's three-position smallbore event.
