Before Air Force
Played junior hockey for coach Harvey Smyl's Chilliwack Chiefs of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League ... Played in 59 of the team's 60 regular season games on defense ... Finished the season third among the team's defensemen in scoring with seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points ... Played in all 11 playoff games and was the team's top scoring defenseman with six points (2-4-6) ... Played for the Springfield Spirit of the North American Hockey League in 2002-03 and was named the team's unsung hero and best defenseman ...
