Air Force Academy fencers traveled to Milwaukee, Wis., this past weekend to compete in the North American Cup junior tournament (Nov. 18-22). Women's saber fencer, sophomore Heather Nelson, was the Academy's highest finisher with a ninth-place finish among the 95 saber competitors.

In 24th place, freshman Chase Houser finished among the field of 205 men's epee competitors, while freshman Adam Walker finished in 89th place. In the field of 166 men's saber fencers, freshman Emerson Woerner finished 37th while sophomore Scott Pippen finished 47th. Freshman Olivia Prosseda finished 114th of 145 in the junior women's epee tournament.

In December, the Academy's fencers will compete in the NAC Division I tournament in Atlanta, Ga., Dec. 18-20.
