    In day 2 of the Nick Toth Open, Air Force foil fencer Nick Stockdale, a freshman from Lansdowne, Pa., won the mixed foil competition. AFA's top finishers also included freshman Daniel Fang, Duluth, Ga., who tied for third place in the foil open. Senior Collette Bannister, Seattle, Wash., tied for third in the women's foil competition. Bannister also finished 10th in the mixed foil open.

    In mixed foil open, freshman Ian Hocking, Colorado Springs, Colo., finished fifth and Michael O'Connor, a freshman from Charlotte, N.C., finished 11th.

    In women's foil, junior Ainsley Allen placed eighth. Freshmen Moni Suluai, Pago Pago, American Samoa, finished in 11th place, while Kali Kinglsey, Spring Hill, Fla., finished in 12th place.

    On Nov. 9, the Academy fencers will travel to Dallas, Texas to compete in the North American Cup junior tournament.
