Falcons in 12th place at NCAA Fencing Championships

    After the first day of the men's competition at the NCAA Fencing Championships, the Air Force men added 21 points to the team's overall score and finished the day with 42 points. Air Force is now in 12th place following rounds 1-4. The competition will resume tomorrow morning.

    In men's foil, junior Nick Stockdale finished the day in 14th place and had seven victories with .500 percent of his bouts won.

    In men's epee, senior Peter French is currently in seventh place with eight victories and .571 bouts won. Junior Daniel Trapani is in 16th place with six wins and .429 of his bouts won.

    Yesterday, the women's team, represented by sophomore Simone Barrette in women's epee and freshman Heather Nelson, saber tied for 12th place with 21 points overall.
