Falcons tied in 12th place at NCAA Fencing Championships

    After Day 1 of the 2007 NCAA Collegiate Men's and Women's Fencing Championships, the Air Force Academy is tied in 12th place after round 4. In men's saber, AFA's Michael O'Connor finished in 24th place. Senior Nathan Smith placed 17th in men's foil and freshman Peter French finished 12th in epee.

    Rounds 5-7 of the men's events will take place on Friday, March 23. The women's events begin on Saturday with rounds 1-4 at 10 a.m. EST and Sunday, rounds 5-7 at 9:30 a.m. EST.

    Women's Epee, rounds 5-7

    Women's Foil, rounds 5-7

    Women's Sabre, rounds 5-7

    2 p.m. - Women's Gold Medal Bouts
