Academy Fencing Results from NAC in Denver

In the first three days of the North American Cup competition, AFA's Brynn Thoreson tied for third place in the women's epee Division II tournament. Also in the 57-woman division, Lydia Bigelow finished in 34th place. In Division III women's foil, teammate Elizabeth Jaszczak finished 22nd followed by Monica Herrera in 57th place. Bigelow also competed in this event, finishing 60th. Alison Freiman competed among 61 competitors, finishing in 26th place. In men's division II epee, Adam Schenk placed in the top 20 with a 17th-place finish.

The NAC tournament continues today, Monday, March 14 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
