Men's Fencing Ranked 10th in USFCA Fencing Coaches' Poll

    The Air Force Academy men's fencing team claimed the No. 10 spot in the USFCA Coaches' poll, announced Wednesday, Feb. 17, by the United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA). This is the Academy's men's fencing team's first USFCA national ranking since 2004 (eighth). The men's fencing team is the first Academy team to earn a top-10 national ranking during the 2009-10 academic year.

    "We are very proud of our men's team," commented assistant coach Timothy French.

    The Coaches' Association poll was the second of three polls the USFCA will release during the 2010 fencing season, with the final poll to appear in March after the NCAA Regional Qualifiers. The fencing teams will travel to San Diego for regionals on March 13.
