Air Force Women's Fencing Team Enjoy Success at Notre Dame Duals

U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. - The Air Force Academy women's fencing team enjoyed a successful day on Saturday at the Notre Dame Duals in South Bend. The Falcons finished the competition with a 6-2 dual record. The women got their six victories over Florida (16-11), Swarthmore (20-7), Lawrence (16-11), Wayne State (15-12), Detroit (26-1) and Cleveland State (23-4). The women lost to seventh-ranked Northwestern University (20-7) and top-ranked Notre Dame (21-6). The epee team posted a 6-2 mark, the foil team went 3-5, while the saber team finished 6-2 on the day. The Notre Dame Duals conclude Sunday with the men's competitions.
