Fencers head for Overland Park, Kansas for NACs

Head Coach Abdel Salem and the Air Force fencers head for Overland Park, Kansas, to compete in the North American Cup, Jan. 14-17. The event venue is the Overland Park Convention Center.

Team members Tim French, Jackson Ranes, Jason Stockdale, Adam Schenk and Sean Andrews will compete in the Division I men's epee competition on Saturday, Jan 15. Joining them is 2Lt Curtis Marshall in men's epee. Stockdale and Schenk will also compete in the junior men's epee tournament on Monday, Jan. 17. In men's saber, Sam Bartron will compete on Saturday, while Nate Smith will fence in the men's foil division on Sunday, Jan. 16.

Five Falcons will compete in the women's junior tournament. Eliza Enyart will fence in both Division I and junior epee. Lydia Bigelow and Brynn Thoreson will fence epee on Friday. Monica Herrera and Erinn Woodside will fence foil on Saturday.

Results will be available on the Air Force web site on Tuesday, following the tournament.
