Air Force Academy fencers Nick Stockdale and Daniel Trapani concluded the 2008 postseason at the Summer National Fencing Championships in San Jose, Calif., July 1-8. Stockdale, from Lansdowne, Pa., was 16th among 94 of the country's top men's foil fencers in Division 1A. Stockdale also tied for 73rd place among 128 in the junior division. Trapani is a freshman, from Houston, Texas, finished 11th among 119 in the men's junior epee tournament. He also finished 37th among 114 in Division I.

The Air Force fencing team will open the 2008-09 season this fall with the Nick Toth Open in September.
