Summer National Fencing Championships

July 1-10, 2008 - San Jose Calif.

USAF Academy, Colo. - Three Air Force fencers are scheduled to compete in the 2008 Summer National Championships in San Jose, Calif., on July 1-10. Nick Stockdale, a freshman from Lansdowne, Pa., will compete in the Division I men's foil competition, while freshman Daniel Trapani from Houston, Texas, will compete in Division I men's epee.

Sophomore Peter French, Austin, Texas, is anticipated to compete in men's epee. The 2007-08 athletic year is French's final year of junior-division competition. He will move up to the senior division with the start of the 2008-09 competitive season.

The Summer Nationals conclude the 2007-08 US Fencing Tournament schedule.
