2007-08: Senior Brynn Thoreson, coach Salem sees her as the team's fashion guru ... paired with Eliza Enyart and Jennifer Nolta, the women's epee team will be a great squad this year.

2006-07: Thoreson opened the season with a 28th-place finish in epee at the 2006 Nick Toth Open ... her season-best finish, seventh, came at the New Mexico Open ... in October, she finished 11th in women's epee ... her combined dual-meet record of 13-17 came in the UCSD and Duke Invites ... at regionals, she finished 10th.

2005-06: Finished fifth at the 2006 NCAA Western Region Championships ... helped the women's team to a 3-3 overall finish at the UC San Diego dual ... added strength to the women's team during the Northwestern dual ... AFA finished 4-5 overall.

2004-05: A recruited athlete from the Academy's Prep School, she brought experience and skill to the women's epee team ... in March, she competed in the Division II North American Cup in Denver, tying for third place among 57 competitors ... she finished tied for 81st place in the NAC junior division ... she finished 35th at the Falcon Open ... she was a Junior Olympic qualifier, finishing fifth in women's epee under 20 and fourth in foil U-20 ... she was the sixth-place finisher in the Military Championships ... at the New Mexico Open she tied for third place in women's epee and finished 61st in open epee ... in Georgia, she competed in the NAC, finishing 14th of 190 ... she was the ninth-place finisher in women's epee and finished 43rd in mixed epee at the Nick Toth Open.

Before Air Force: She graduated high school with an International Baccalaureate in 2003 ... attended the USAFA Prep School and represented the prep school in the 2003 Falcon Open, finishing 33rd in mixed epee ... she also competed in the Nick Toth Open, finishing 35th ... her parents are Gary and Leslie Thoreson ... her sister, Kara, is also a member of the Falcons' women's epee team.

Academy: Majoring in civil engineering ... member of squadron 30 ... spent part of the summer in Japan for Operational Air Force ... wants to attend pilot training after graduation.
