Before the Academy:
 Competed for Front Range Fencing Club, coached by Kathryn Lewis Salem … seventh place at 2014 Junior Olympics … third place Div. II National Championship in 2013 … graduated in top 10 percent of graduating class … earned an academic letter all four years.

Personal:  Member of cadet squadron 24 … daughter of Ray and Denise Landwehr … has on older sister … intends to major in operations research … future career plan is to become an officer in the Air Force … why I decided to come to the Academy: “I decided to come to the Academy to serve my country and be part of a community that strives for excellence in everyday life.  I want to be part of something bigger than myself and to help other people.” … hobbies are hiking and camping … began fencing at age 11 … credits her club coach, Kathryn Lewis Salem, as having the biggest influence on her sports career … pre-competition superstition is eating ice cream … dream vacation spot is France … guilty pleasure is Reality TV shows … something most people don’t know about her is that she loves to travel … most notable thing about her home town is the Air Force Academy … enjoys listening to country and pop music … favorite class subject is math.
