AFA Squads Advance to West Region Final Rounds in Five Disciplines (March 9)

2012-13: In 2012, she competed in the women's saber tournament at the Nick Toth Open where she finished tied for third place ... in senior mixed saber at the Amarillo Open she finished in 11th place ... she won the seniors title bout at the New Mexico Open ... finished in 11th place in senior mixed saber ... at the Falcon Open, she finished in eighth place ... in 2013, at the Western Invitational she had an 8-7 record ... at the Notre Dame Dual she was 5-7 ... at the West Regional finished ninth (1-8).

2011-12: Freshman record was 6-6 in duals ... finished sixth at the Falcon Open ... was 4-5 at the Western Invitational and 2-1 at the Duke meet ... earned her first varsity letter.

Before the Academy: Graduated from Pioneer Valley High School ... her coaches were Mr. Neil Bernardo and Justin Magdaleno ... as a freshman she received All League as a goalie in water polo ... senior year, she received All League during soccer season ... freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years she received Scholar Athlete ... junior year she received Triathlete ... received a rope for maintaining an average GPA of a 3.5 or higher throughout her four years ... attended the USAFA Prep School ... played prep soccer ... parents are Paul and Frances Ionata ... has two siblings, Rachel and Charlotte ... enjoys cooking, reading, writing, listening to music, hanging out with my family, snowboarding, and beach volleyball.

Academy: Major is biology ... wants to become an Intelligence officer or a Bio Environmental Engineer and is a member of Cadet Squadron 9.
