
California Baptist Outscores Air Force Men’s Soccer, 3-0

USAF ACADEMY – Air Force was shutout by California Baptist, 3-0, in Western Athletic Conference action, Thursday evening at Cadet Soccer Stadium. The Lancers, picking up speed in the league, improve to 8-2-3 (3-1-1 WAC), while AF dropped to 1-11-2 (0-5 WAC).
CBU put up 22 shots on the match led by Blake D'Agostino who scored two goals on the match. D'Agostino was first to strike early on (5'), scoring off a Falcon miscue in their own third. In the 19th minute, CBU extended to 2-0 off a corner kick service from Tizian Marth to scorer Haroun Conteh. D'Agostino notched his second goal in a PK opportunity in the 33rd minute.
AF keeper C3C Brody Smith made five saves in goal. Falcon C3C Attila Toth led the offense with three attempts. Air Force had is most quality chance in the waning minutes but CBU keeper Hugo Do Rogo was up to task to keep the Falcons shutout.
Next up, Air Force closes out the home slate for Senior Day against Grand Canyon, Sunday, October 26. Action at Cadet Soccer Stadium will kick off at 2pm MT.
