Air Force Women Wrap Up Day One at Cougar Classic

Ben Fox Earns Boxer of the Week Honors

Freshman Ben Fox highlighted five champions during the Air Force boxing team's Nov. 20 round of Friday Night Fights. The night featured one member of the intercollegiate squad and nine first-year boxers. Fox, improving to 3-0 on the year, was awarded the program's Boxer of the Week award following a 151-pound decision over sophomore Craig Spanger. [+]

Air Force and UConn skate to 2-2 overtime tie

Husky Mike Coppola scored with 6:28 left in the third period as Air Force and UConn skated to a 2-2 overtime tie in an Atlantic Hockey Association game, Friday night, Nov. 20, at the Mark Freitas Ice Forum in Storrs, Conn. Air Force fell into second place in the league and is now 5-5-3 overall and 5-1-3 in the AHA. UConn is now 2-7-2 overall and 2-4-2 in the AHA. RIT moved into sole possession with its seventh straight win earlier tonight. [+]

The Air Force women's basketball team fell to visiting Portland, 73-65, Friday afternoon in Clune Arena. Junior guard Raimee Beck paced the Falcons with her second-consecutive double-double of the season, recording a season-best 25 points to go along with 10 rebounds. With the loss, the Falcons drop to 1-3 on the season, while the Pilots improve to 1-2. [+]

Second-Seed Air Force Upset by Whittier at WWPA Championship

Outscored 4-1 in the final quarter, the 14th-ranked Air Force water polo team, seeded second in the conference tournament, dropped a 10-9 decision to seventh-seed Whittier in the opening round of the 2009 Western Water Polo Association Championship. [+]
