Two members of the Air Force track and field team opened competition at the Mt. SAC/California Invitational Multi-Events Meet, this afternoon (April 16) at Azusa Pacific University. Freshman Alexa Chacon made her collegiate debut in the heptathlon, while junior Evan McDowell opened action in the decathlon.
The Air Force baseball hosts #20 UNLV for a three-game Mountain West series, Thurs.-Sat., April 17-19. Live video streaming and livestats will be available for the game.
Air Force junior Hillary Keltner was named the volleyball team's MVP for the second straight season, as the Falcons held their annual awards banquet last weekend at the Falcon Stadium Press Box. Keltner is the fifth Air Force player to earn the MVP honor in back-to-back years and the sixth to receive more than one such honor.
Air Force baseball defeated Adams State 17-1 in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon at Falcon Field. The Falcons had a season-high for runs and their 18 hits were also a season-best. Air Force has now won three in a row at home and five of its last six games.
Senior Kyle Westmoreland shot a final round 69 Tuesday to finish in a tie for second-place and lead the Air Force golf team to a fourth-place finish at the OIGO UCSB Intercollegiate at the par-72 Sandpiper Golf Club in Santa Barbara, Calif.
