Ernie Sedelmyer is currently the athletic trainer for the men's basketball program.
Sedelmyer came to the Academy in 1997 after spending three years at the Foundation Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in Madisonville, Ky. When he first joined the Academy, Sedelmyer was the athletic trainer for the women's soccer team. He then began working with the lacrosse program in 1998 and football program in 1999. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers Association and the Colorado Athletic Trainers Association. Sedelmyer received a bachelor's of science degree in 1992 from Penn State, then a master's of science degree in athletic training from West Virginia in 1994. During his time at WVU, he was a certified athletic trainer for Morgantown Physical Therapy Associates and coordinated all sports medicine activities for Albert Gallatin High
Sedelmyer and his wife, Beth, have two children, Alex (6) and Anneka (4).
