United States Air Force Academy Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

    Mission of the SAAC
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at the U.S. Air Force Academy is a dynamic group of cadet-athletes dedicated to providing a voice for the interests and concerns of the cadet-athletes and cadets, while promoting a positive cadet-athlete image to the wing as well as the public. The Air Force Academy SAAC addresses issues relative to intercollegiate athletics as well as institutional issues for all cadet-athletes.  This allows for success among cadet-athletes through communication with the cadet wing.  Portions of the mission are achieved through various avenues such as community service, cadet spirit programs, the Adopt-A-Team program and the Adopt-A-School program.

    The NCAA SAAC mission statement:
"The mission of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete well being and fostering a positive student-athlete image."
