July 17, 2017

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force placed 75 student-athletes on the spring Academic All-Mountain West team, as announced today by the league office. The 75 student-athletes honored are the third most since joining the Mountain West in 1999-00.  The school record of 81 honorees was set during the 2015-16 spring season.

Combined with the 36 student athletes that earned Mountain West all-academic honors in the fall, 111 Academy student-athletes were honored during the 2016-17 academic year. That total is the second most since the Falcons joined the Mountain West in 1999-00. The school record of 122 was set last season.

The Mountain West honored a total of 986 student-athletes on the spring 2017 Academic All-Mountain West team, the Conference announced today.
