Parents and Young Golfers:
Come and join us for the Air Force Academy Golf camp hosted at the highly regarded Eisenhower Golf Course. Head Coach George Koury will serve as the camp director and will be assisted by an outstanding staff of PGA Professionals and collegiate golf coaches. All players will receive instruction in all aspects of the game. Learn from some of the best collegiate players in Colorado as they serve as camp counselors. The format and timeline for the camp has been modified to maximize contact time while accommodating the growing junior golf tournament schedule.
Session 2A will begin with check-in at Eisenhower Golf course between 1:00-2:00pm on Sunday, June 18. We will have instruction from 2:00-5:00pm on Sunday afternoon. Instruction on Monday, June 19 will begin at 8:00am and will terminate at 5:00pm. Tuesday, June 20 will begin at 8:00am and all campers will be dismissed at the conclusion of camp at 5:00pm.
Session 2B will begin with check-in at Eisenhower Golf course between 1:00-2:00pm on Wednesday, June 21. We will have instruction from 2:00-5:00pm on Wednesday afternoon. Instruction on Thursday, June 22 will begin at 8:00am and will terminate at 5:00pm. Friday, June 23 will begin at 8:00am and all campers will be dismissed at the conclusion of camp at 5:00pm.
Each camper will receive instruction in all areas of the game each day. All players will participate in instruction sessions following dinner on the first full day of instruction Monday/Thursday (weather permitting). During weather delays, our staff will cover golf rules, history of the game and provide insight into preparing for higher level competition.
Campers are required to provide their own equipment to include: golf clubs (with name on each club--address labels work well on the shafts), tennis shoes or soft spike golf shoes, golf balls and tees, golf towel, windbreaker/rain gear, proper golf attire (collared shirts, golf shorts or pants, skirts/skorts), sunscreen lotion and cap or visor.
The campers will be divided into groups based upon their skill level to ensure maximum instruction. The Golf Camp is limited to 21 campers per session (A or B) so please register early.
