    Parents and Young Lacrosse Players,

Hello and thank you for considering the AFA Boys' Lacrosse Camp. This year's camp is expected to be another great camp. As always, AFA Boys' Lacrosse Camp is supported by a very experienced staff. In order to relate to all levels of lacrosse players, our staff is composed of professional, collegiate and high school coaches and players.

AFA Boys' Lacrosse camp is a teaching/learning camp. New skills will be introduced, demonstrated, practiced and finally used in game like situations. It is a great opportunity to improve and enhance skills as well as to build upon the total skills you already have. Each participant will be placed in a group based on his age level. Students will play each day on our plush grass fields. During inclement weather, camp goes indoors on our state of the art turf field where campers will receive group and individual instruction.

In order to attend AFA Boys' Lacrosse Camp you will need to provide your own equipment:

    • Helmet with mouthpiece
    • Shoulder Pads & Elbow / Arm pads
    • Gloves / Cup / Stick

You will also need a pair of cleats for play on the fields and a pair of sneakers for wear when inside Academy facilities.

Camp will begin each day starting at 8:30am and will wrap up at 4:30pm. The camp will conclude on Friday for Session 1 at 12:00pm and no lunch will be served that day. Session 3 is a commuter only camp and will be for players 8-13. Session 3 camp will run 8:30-4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday, and from 8:30am-12:00pm on Wednesday. Please note, no lunch will be served on Wednesday. Prizes will be given to outstanding campers for each week. The awards ceremony will commence about 11:30am after the instruction on Friday and 12:00pm on Wednesday. The ceremony will be on the upper lacrosse fields, and parents who want to observe this ceremony are welcome.
