Girls' Basketball
Session 1: June 10-15; Session 2: June 17-22
Dear Parents and Campers (Sessions 1/ages 12-16; Session 2/ages 8-18):
Thank you for considering the Air Force Academy Girls Basketball Camp. Our Staff is excited you are considering participating in our camp. This year, Session 1 will be geared to the older girls 12-16 for skill specifics/full court games. Session 2 will be for all ages 8-18 (boarders/12 & older or commuters for both sessions).
Our mission is to provide a complete, in-depth basketball experience emphasizing fundamentals to help girls reach their full potential. Participants will benefit from our energetic coaching, a competitive environment, and extensive training in basketball skills and tactics. We want you to leave our camp a better basketball player and also we want you to have fun! Here are a few things you need to know...
The items that you will need to bring:
Basketball shoes, socks, shorts and t-shirts (boarders bring 5 sets of shorts, socks and t-shirts) - do not bring basketballs - they will be provided.
During both morning and afternoon sessions, campers will participate in station work, fundamental drills, competitive individual and team challenges, and 5-on-5 full court games. All individual and team challenges, as well as games, will be held during the final day. This is a great opportunity for family and friends to attend and observe the camp, however, all days may be attended.
Again, thank you for considering our camp. We believe our camp is special and unique because of the individual instruction and attention given to each participant by our coaching staff.
