This week in Air Force athletics

    Women's Basketball vs. New Mexico - February 29th - Air Force Women's Basketball invites fans out to the last home game of the season to honor Senior Guard Jamela Satterfield during Senior Night at Clune Arena.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7 pm.  Fans can take advantage of great ticket discounts and deals at concessions during a 3,2,1 promotion that offers $3 tickets, $2 hot dogs and $1 soda.  It's also Heroes Night which means all military personnel and up to three guests will be admitted for free with a valid ID.

     

    Boxing Wing Open Championship - March 1st   The Wing Open Finals will be held this Thursday at 7pm.  The boxing showcase will feature 14 of the Academy's best fighters under the lights at Clune Arena on March 1st.  Admission is free and voluntary donations will be accepted to benefit the Special Ops Wounded Warrior Fund.

     

    Men's and Women's Gymnastics - March 2nd  The Falcon gymnastics squads will be in action this Friday at the Cadet Gymnasium West Gym for a doubleheader starting at 6pm.  The men will take on Illinois-Chicago and the women's team will be competing against Seattle Pacific.  Admission is free.

    Men's Tennis vs. UNLV - March 3rd - The men's tennis team welcomes in UNLV for a Saturday morning match at the Cadet Gymnasium Indoor Tennis courts.  Play will start at 10 am.  Admission is free.

     

    Men's Lacrosse Home Opener - March 3rd - The Falcons will open up their 2012 home slate with a showdown this Saturday against East Coast foe Quinnipiac at Falcon Stadium  Game time is set for 11 am.  Admission is free.

     

    Men's Basketball vs. Colorado State - March 3rd - Fan Appreciation Day at Clune Arena - $5 tickets in all upper level sections.  Subject to availability.  The first 300 fans will receive a free AFA snap hat at the gate.  To purchase your tickets click here or contact the AFA ticket office at 472-1895.  Tip off is scheduled for 2pm.
