This week in Air Force athletics

The Air Force men's basketball team will be back in action at Clune Arena this Saturday for the last time before hitting the road for a big west coast swing that takes them to Spokane for a showdown with Gonzaga and the San Francisco area for the Cable Car Classic hosted by Santa Clara.  The Falcons are coming off of two stellar defensive performances, holding opponents to 34 and 51 points in their last pair of games.  Air Force currently sits at 5-2 on the season with 7 games remaining until the conference slate.  On Saturday the Falcons will be welcoming in Maryland Eastern Shore for a 7 pm tip-off.  The team would like to encourage fans to bring in a teddy bear or stuffed animal to donate to the local Toys for Tots program.  All fans donating an item at the gate will receive $5 upper reserved admission to the game.  At halftime we'll put targets down on the court and let fans take aim with their teddy bears to try and win some great prizes from our sponsors.  Additional tickets can be purchased online by clicking here or calling 472-1895.
