The Air Force water polo team, receiving votes in last week's national coaches' poll, is currently ranked tied for 16th in the nation in the latest poll, released today by the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA).

The Falcons' current ranking is their highest of the season and the team's highest since the 2009 season. Last weekend, Air Force earned its first victory over a ranked team this season, knocking off then-15th-ranked Santa Clara, 12-10, at the SoCal Tournament.

Air Force returns to action next weekend, Oct. 14, when its hosts conference rival Loyola Marymount at 7:00 p.m. in the Cadet Natatorium.
