Ayesha Hein capped off a stellar debut weekend for the Air Force volleyball team with all-tournament team honors at the Kristen Dickmann Invitational (Aug. 26-27). The Honolulu, Hawaii, native amassed a team-best 26 kills, .333 hitting percentage, seven service aces and five blocks as the Falcons opened the season with three matches in Annapolis, Md.

She scored the final points for Air Force during the first (service ace) and third (kill) sets. She also led the team in kills during the matches against Bowling Green (11) and St. John's (9).
Air Force opens the home season on Tuesday, Aug. 30, when it hosts in-state rival Northern Colorado at 7 p.m. The Falcons then travel to Denver for the Pioneers' tournament on Sept. 1-2.
