    Coach Calhoun Headlines Sports Corp Luncheon - Air Force head coach Troy Calhoun will be in his familiar chair at the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation's annual College Football Kickoff Luncheon on Wednesday, June 29 at the Colorado Springs Marriott. It's been a lucky seat for the talented head coach over the past four summers, too.

    The College Football Kickoff Luncheon, one of the state's most anticipated gridiron events, is set for Wednesday, June 29, at the Colorado Springs Marriott at 12:00 Noon.

     Luncheon fans will also hear from CU's first-year coach Jon Embree, CSU-Pueblo's John Wristen, standout Colorado State sophomore quarterback Pete Thomas, who will represent the Rams, and Northern Colorado's first-year head coach Earnest Collins, Jr. 

    There is a buzz on each campus about the upcoming 2011 season, and football fans will want to be on hand to hear about it.

    Tickets: Table of ten: $250.00 for Sports Corp members, school booster group members; $300.00 for all others. Seats $25.00/$30.00 for same groups.

    Mountain West Conference Unveils New Logo - The Mountain West Conference Board of Directors (BOD) and Commissioner Craig Thompson unveiled the league's new brand direction and conference identity yesterday at the league's annual spring meetings in Torrey Pines, CA.   Click here for the full story.

     

    Kickoff the 2011 Football Season at the 2nd Annual Toast to the Host Event - Join Falcon fans on August 6th for beer and wine tasting, food from area restaurants and a first look at the 2011 Fightin' Falcon football team.  Fans can also stick around following practice to speak with Coach Calhoun and other members of the staff about the upcoming season.  To reserve your tickets to this year's event click here.

     

    Fall Sports Season Tickets Currently on Sale Falcon football, hockey and volleyball season tickets for 2011-12 are now available.  Football will be hosting 7 games at home this year instead of the usual six.  Fans will be treated to a bonus game for the same price as last season.  Packages start at $60 and only $200 for family four packs.  Hockey season tickets remain in a limited amount.  Family Packs sold out weeks ago and seating in the reserved and center ice areas are soon to follow.  Volleyball season tickets offer an unbelievable value.  Fans can watch all 11 home matches for only $25 for adults and $10 for youth.   Click here to be re-directed to the AFA ticket webpage or contact a ticket office representative at 719-472-1895.

     

    Earn Free Tickets to the AFA vs. South Dakota Football Game or a Family Pack to any AFA Volleyball Match Air Force Academy Athletics is once again teaming up with the Pikes Peak Library District to offer local kids the opportunity to earn Falcon tickets through this summer's PPLD reading program.  The reading program will has just started and will run through July.  Readers can earn great prizes throughout the summer from local businesses and restaurants along with free tickets to AFA sporting events when reaching reading goals during the summer months.  Registration packets can be picked up at any Pikes Peak Library District location.  For more information about the program click here.
