Air Force freshman midfielder Erik Smith has been listed by Inside Lacrosse in its annual Freshman Rankings. Each season, Inside Lacrosse rates the top 25 freshmen in NCAA Division I lacrosse.
Smith, who owns a 51.6 win percentage at the face-off X, leads the Falcons in both assists (12) and ground balls (59) on the season. The native of Golden, Colo., is currently rated as the 11th-best freshman in Division I after being ranked 12th in the initial Freshman Rankings. Inside Lacrosse releases its Freshman Rankings three times during the season.
