Senior Jacques Lamoureux set a new Atlantic Hockey Association record for career goals in league games as he scored his 57th on Saturday, Feb. 19, at Mercyhurst. His goal in the first period, from linemates Derrick Burnett and Kyle DeLaurell, broke the record of 56 set by Army's Owen Meyer (2006-10). Lamoureux set the record in just three seasons as he sat out his freshman year due to a transfer from Northern Michigan. The center from Grand Forks, N.D., leads Air Force with 16 goals and 34 points. He ranks third in the league in points and fourth in goals this season.
